Hey, the NDP haven’t done much to advocate for social democratic solutions either. Mulcair’s influence still seems to loom over the party policy wise. I hope that changes.

He’s talking about a new crown Corp essentially to build the homes as well. I’d say it’s a mix of market and non-market policy solutions. No way the conservatives would ever suggest to start a home building entity owned by the gov.

I heard $25B in financing which usually means low interest loans. Not exactly a hand out but cheaper financing.

This is a nice spot in downtown Ottawa. I travelled there a few years back. I took some time to enjoy the public art and sat to drink a coffee in that plaza. A very nice use of space!
