in terms of viktor’s leg condition we don’t really know exactly what it is other than it developing wrong since childhood, so i went with a similar disability in both horses and people in general, the problem i had with your post in this case was claiming that it would be inaccurate to depict 1/2

saying “horses are put down and there’s no way to translate viktor’s disability into x animal” is misinformation when a club foot and scoliosis is seen in horses, and they can have a normal quality of life with mobility aids. you cannot ask people to just give him a different disability lmao

and while it IS true that some horses do need to be put down this is done as a last resort and if it’s truly unhealable. a horse being born with a disability like viktor’s would be able to adapt and have help to continue living as normal as possible

horse prosthetics and braces exist and you can learn more about them by looking them up and reading about it on get sites lol. i can tell you for a fact as someone who’s in the horse racing industry that they no longer put down race horses if their quality of life can be helped with mobility aids….
