I grew these. By “I”, I mean my wife. By “my wife”, I mean that a rogue tomato plant sprouted on its own in front of the house and she’s the one who tends to this wild and prolific beast. It’s making like 4-5 pints a day. The second photo is one day’s harvest.

I’m in motherfuckin’ Porto Venere, Italy
Chiesa di San Pietro, a church at the top of the hill. The main walls are made of alternating dark gray rock and white marble making horizontal stripes from the ground to the roof. The small bell tower above is constructed with smaller dark gray rocks. There is a thin metal cross atop that, dark against the gray cloudy sky.

Years ago (before Nats Park), we stayed at a hotel in Navy Yard to attend the ShamrockFest at RFK. Walking to Metro, we spied a place a block away with a sign out front that said "WINGS". After the show and many beers, we were looking forward to those delicious wings. This was the place.

Crescent wrapped hot dogs with cheese didn’t turn out as I expected.
Photo shows crescent rolls that are wrapped around hot dogs, but the pastry looks like a penis with white cheese melting out the front. It’s quite disturbing.

A bouquet of lunch sandwiches for my sons. They’ll be gone by Wednesday.
A big bowl of deli sliced ham and chicken sandwiches with cheddar or Colby Jack cheese, mayo, mustard and arugula individually wrapped in earth crushing ziploc bags for my sons who are 16 and almost 12.
