Today is the 7th anniversary of my aunt’s death. Yolanda was my favorite of my mom’s 5 sisters. She was a rebel who bucked expectations of what a Mexican daughter should be. She studied chemistry and later got a master’s in psychology and became a therapist. I remember her green Renault. I miss her.
