lol, the same happened to me. I was about to pack it in, saw more reds appearing on the drive home, and stopped just in time for the best show of the night!

Yeah, the biggest problem I see right now is companies trying to speedrun these AI tools into tasks that they are not (yet) ready for. They are very capable in the right contexts, but in many cases have gotten ahead of their skis.

Just to be clear: the winds reported in the dropsonde data above are 5-s averages? If so, are they reporting the maximum 5-s average over some longer time interval, or just what the latest 5-s average happened to be at the given height as the data came in?
