I see everyone making a thread for the #100HorrorMoviesin92Days Challenge (August 1st to October 31st) so here is mine.

I started a couple days late, but I'm still positive I can make it if I simply ignore a few responsibilities in my life.

Good luck everyone and most importantly, enjoy! 🔪🖤
I haven't practiced witchcraft in years. When I moved I got rid of all my possessions and since then never settled enough to build a new set up. Today I successfully did a spell and it reminded me of the positive effects magic used to have on my life. I can't wait to get back to it.🔮

pre-writing a devastating obituary for your enemy is god-tier hating of a kind you don’t often see anymore. renaissance haterism. beautiful stuff.
A Sharon Begley byline, almost 5 years after her death.

Upon hearing the news James Watson had died, a STAT reporter said in our Slack, "I wish I could read what Sharon would have written."

Incredible news: Sharon in fact did pre-write a Watson obit. And it is masterful and excoriating.

It's finally the 31st of October!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN, my friends! 🎃

No matter how you're celebrating, I hope you are enjoying yourself. And don't remove the decoration before the night ends unless you want to get a visit from Little Sam. 😜

Wasn't really in the spooky mood until a couple days ago where I started planning my costume and stuff. Now I can't wait to spend the day watching movies, baking spooky themed cookies and going to a Halloween party in the evening. 🎃😍

I stopped the #100HorrorMoviesin92Days challenge a week ago after 37 movies because not only would I have not made it but I actually stopped enjoying it. 😩 I couldn't even be bothered to post the last ones. It started to feel like a chore rather than just watching for fun because I feel like it.

So incredibly excited for this to revive the film franchise after the huge disappointment that was the second installment. I'm not a gamer, but Silent Hill was one of the few video games I actually found an interest in (admittedly AFTER seeing the first movie).

Hopefully Gans gets it right again!

“He was a man of faith.” Yeah? What does that faith say about how we treat immigrants and the poor? And what did he say about those people? And so how much does his faith matter in how we think of him now?

Spencer Cox celebrating the life of someone who said that Black people were literally too intellectually inferior to fly planes.

I repeat. Fuck Charlie Kirk.

If your nations unity is dependent on the blood of Black people. May it burn to the ground.

Quote with a gif from the last show/movie you watched!

'Fresh' was a great watch and I couldn't have been happier about Stan playing the villain. Ever since 'Sharper' I believe he's made for roles like this. Great chemistry between the two mc, fantastic acting, witty dialogues. Loved every minute!

The ending just amplified my complain. I know it's supposed to be a painful ending/plot twist, but that scene in the car was peak stupidity, preceded by a succession of other stupid decisions. Also the dad's acting fell flat to me. At least the story was entertaining, albeit frustrating to watch.

'The Mist' (2007) directed by Frank Darabont

It's not looking good for me actually successfully finishing the challenge lol anyway, my fifth one and I'm halfway in. It's not that the movie is bad, but it's very frustrating to watch them make all the wrong decisions.

Happy 'WEAPONS' day to everyone who celebrates! 🖤

Less than 10 hours until I'll be seated for one of my most anticipated movies this year.

When are you guys going to see it?
August 7, 2025 at 6:02 AM
I don't know what I expected but it wasn't that. This was a lot more tragedy than horror, although those gore scenes were some of the most horrifying and uncomfortable ones I've seen. I still have to properly think about the story, but overall this is a great movie that left me feeling depressed.

I rarely watch animated movies, but I saw 'KPop Demon Hunters' the other day and.... just wow! What an entertaining, sweet, surprisingly profound movie that already has me addicted to two songs I discovered in it.

Also I relate to Mira a lot which automatically makes her my favorite lol

I just found my will to live again lol

The trailer for James Cameron's 'Avatar: Fire and Ash' is here (previously only showing in theaters)! I have not seen it yet. When I do, I'll prepare popcorn, a drink and light some candles for 2 minutes of pure fucking bliss.

White people who bitch about racism seem to think that it consists entirely of name calling.

They have no concept that there's an entire iceberg of brutality and dehumanization that floats beneath the surface.

One of the most beautiful TV show intros I have ever seen. Even when rewatching an entire season I intently watch the intro every single time. It perfectly captures the haunting beauty of this extremely unique and underrated show.
