Discouraging people from making "negative" comments on politicians because "the other option is worse" is nothing but a game designed to keep the average citizen silenced and for the status quo to be upheld. Change requires hard truths and addressing them, not shying away and pretending all is well.

This is what we need to be doing at whatever level we have power at. Get involved in your local school board, city government, mutual aid, etc. The federal government is going to fail us at an unprecedented level going forward, so it falls on us to support each other.

Regardless of the chaos unfolding in Washington, we’re making Minnesota the best state for kids to grow up.

10 years ago today. I'll always remember where I was, in the basement of an amazing friend's house after driving through heavy snow. After the Kearae catch on the sidelines I was devastated, just to be elated beyond belief minutes later. Always thankful to have witnessed the dynasty.
