York Minster is to host an excellent collaboration between organist David Pipe & Plague of Angels. a complaint was publicised by the Guardian & I was invited by modern church network to write a response as this is the intersection of my work.

The artist (Jai Gilchrist) did an amazing job, it's layers of different Morris designs.
Check out the thistle, oak leaves and brer rabbit.

I did one other thing this year (the chronic illness was enjoying the 'illness' part of its identity) which was have a William Morris tattoo sleeve.
Today I got to unite my honeysuckle with a piece of Honeysuckle print from the 1890's. I was unreasonably excited tbh.

This year I'm proudest still of running the second #HMGP Heavy Metal & Global Premodernity conference.
