The extension of the Upfield path from Sages Road to the Ring Road path work is due to start in July. Keep in mind that since the state government first funded and promised this project in 2018, the date has shifted many times and the project scope has shrank considerably so 🤞🏼

For Mothers Day Anvita asked her son to take her for a ride along Westbreen Creek. Only a few weeks ago, Anvita had never ridden a bike! The Wheel Sisters program in Merri-bek is teaching women to ride & making dreams come true while creating opportunities for connection. Happy Mothers Day Anvita!

Ivy is from Glenroy and learnt to ride a bike less than six months ago and has already noticed the difference it makes to the way she feels. Like many of us Ivy is juggling work, kids and other commitments and riding a bike is helping her to feel less stressed and happier.

One of the best things about the Skyrail project in Coburg is not just the separate pedestrian and cycling spaces replacing the old shared path, but the extra space created for planting greenery. The old path was exposed and very hot. In a couple of more years this will be a green oasis.
