Once rapidly growing commercial marvels, casual dining chains — sit-down restaurants where middle-class families can walk in without a reservation, order from another human and share a meal — have been in decline for most of the 21st century.
Where Will We Eat When the Middle-Class Restaurant Is Gone?
The boom in American sit-down chains has come and gone. What replaced them isn’t so great for human connection.

This is more of a PR statement tbh.

Nintendo will of course have accounted for as much as possible prior to announcing the price.

What they (and no one else) expected was a significantly higher 46% tariff. That's what is leading to the pricing re-assessment at this point.
Nintendo says US tariffs weren't factored into the $450 price tag of the Switch 2

“The [tariff] news is fresh, and like many companies right now, we are actively assessing what the impact may be"

Those wanting to leave the ECHR say our own govt and domestic law would protect us.

2 things:
1) the ECHR was set up to protect citizens from human rights abuses by THEIR OWN govts
2) our govt has already removed our FoM rights and limited our rights to strike, protest and vote.
