I'm posting this just because. The world is kind of going to shit, but I've made it this far with my precious babies. Even losing my little furry soul mate I'm still here kicking. Someone out there will always need love and affection. That's what I'm going to continue being here for.
Cats Willow and Minke sleeping next to each other on a chair. Willow is curled up at the top, her back to the camera. Minke is a fully white senior cat curled up towards the camera, his face tucked between his back leg and tail like a little white bun.

The first stitch was adopting Willow. Poor scared little baby, found as a feral stray, not used to humans one bit. She wanted love so desperately and my senior boy had never been alone in his life, so I adopted her. Picture is her before being adopted and a couple of weeks after being adopted.
Picture shows my cat, Willow, as a kitten in he shelter on the left and 7 months old on the right. She's a white bellied gray tabby with yellow eyes. In the before picture on the left, she looks terrified, her pupils wide, her fur sticking up, ears back while she's trying to hide from the camera. On the right she looks relaxed, almost smiling with her ears perked up and curled up on a chair while looking at the camera.

I lost my soul fur baby 11 months ago. Probably the worst time in my life, she's the reason I'm still here today. Friday I'm getting a portrait tattoo of her. <3 My heart still bleeds but every way I remember her is one more stitch to help heal this wound.
My tuxedo cat, Dette. She's laying on a hand knitted cat bed, ears perked up, eyes slightly squinted while she looks at the camera. She's black with a white chest and half a white mouth, the left side of her nose pink and the right side of her nose black, with a little bit of white going up between her green eyes, and little white toe socks on her front paws.
