One small critique of Starship Troopers: Why do they have guns with bullets? Did they predict the places they'd fight "The Bugs" would have the same atmospheric pressure that Earth does? I mean sure they're on this big ass rock with no space suits, they have mini nukes.. but why no laser weapons?

Drug dealer math on those Venezuelan boats: If they are drug boats moving weight into the US, they'd need literal tons of fuel to get to the US. That's going to cost six figures alone. Those boats can't hold tons of blow and fuel. You're carrying more fuel than blow at that point. It don't add up.
