I agree on the mistflower. C. greggii isn’t that bad and it’s a pollinator magnet.

I can’t stand Prunus caroliniana. They seed under everything.

Yea, they seem delicate to the touch, much like the threads of Hamamelis.

Some years Chimonanthus will get hit by a hard freeze in winter in Texas, but other years it makes it through fairly unscathed.

Thats hard. Fresh cauliflower is good. Then there’s collards cooked with bacon grease and brown sugar. Oh, and Brussels sprouts with garlic olive oil or Cajun seasoning.

Me too.

Often it is due to red/far red effects on height from shading.

But, there are other factors that can influence it.

I usually look at other trays around for more clues.
