Newcastle says no to fascism.

The far right brought a hundred or so with them, bussed from far and wide. This city turned out 1000s, from local communities, estates and streets. Geordies of all backgrounds coming together and outnumbering the purveyors of hate by some distance.

Newcastle united.

The Greens could be polling at 90%, and we’d still only hear about Reform “surging” at 2%. The media isn’t just useless, it’s one of the main reasons so much in the world is going wrong.

Journalists questioning Nigel Farage should be pointing out Brexit has been a primary factor in the sky rocketing number of small boat crossings. How hard can this be?

If only the BBC would speak up about Farage like this.
"To the people of the UK who think this Putin-loving free-speech imposter and Trump sycophant will protect freedom in your country, come on over to America and see what Trump & MAGA are doing to destroy OUR freedom"

Farage has his arse handed to him on a plate.

Well said. I was pretty shocked at that too. What does this version of the labour party think it is doing? I wish they would stop thinking about winning votes and elections and just do what is right. Come on. There must be someone in the labour party who has some backbone.
Steve Rotheram, Labour mayor of Liverpool city region, has told Robert Peston he is deeply critical of Keir Starmer’s decision to appoint the former editor of the Sun newspaper to a new Whitehall perm sec position in charge of all 7,000 civil servants engaged in communications and PR
