Just corrected someone on misgendering me at work. That took guts.
Here’s what I said:
“I’m sure you didn’t mean to, but you just misgendered me. I go by she/they pronouns and don’t consider myself a ma’am. It would mean a lot to me if you could avoid using this honorific going forward!”

I have the best friends. I brought ingredients over to their place and they made me a delicious gluten-free, dairy-free, pepper/spice-free shepherds pie, with leftovers to take home.
Also their doggos laid on me all night! It’s always a good day when you get to pet a dog.
I feel so loved!!!
