We hear a lot in Texas about how anti-trans legislation is derivied from the divine wisdom of the people, who elected their legislators to enact policies as they see fit. But what about urban centers in Texas? Do they get to enact policies locally, too? Increasingly, it seems like they can't. -30-

Anyway most books you read ARE NOT FACT CHECKED. Publishers will not pay for fact checkers. An author must take it upon themselves and pay out of pocket.

Which is why folks like @annaleen.bsky.social and @swordsjew.bsky.social who have hired me to fact check their books should be celebrated.
