This crossword clue is one hell of an unintentional horror premise

If I had a nickel for every time my phone decided not to charge on the wireless charger the night before I travel, I’d have three nickels, which is a statistically unlikely number of nickels compared to the expected baseline

What? I finished a #LDJam game on time and didn't massively over scope? Will wonders never cease? ldjam.com/events/ludum...

Windows 11 has an emoji picker. This MS keyboard has a button that opens it. Is this picker compatible with MS’s “new” Outlook? No. That has its own custom emoji picker under the right click menu. This worked with outlook before…🤦‍♂️

Pathfinding with directionality and turning constraints is maybe a bit complicated. Also, how did it get to be 4am? Starting the new year off right, I guess. #gamedev

Really dislike these new tv ads trying to normalize cr*pto. -- "Don't worry, it's totally normal to send a relative money that way when they call you from a foreign country and need cash suddenly. This is definitely safe. And normal. This happens every day." F. That.

The weird color thing I was seeing was actually Windows turning on an "enhanced" color mode somehow. It does a real nasty job with solid green. I eyeballed the difference here with sRBG mode to show how dramatic this looks. The one on the right is just unpleasant to look at.

Updated Fourpenny Zoo. Some of the buildings were a bit of a player trap because they didn't do anything unless you also had a way to score cards. Giving them an alternative use makes them wordier but avoids the trap and actually opens up some fun new lines of play. mercurywave.itch.io/fourpenny-zoo

I've been out of town and haven't opened my zoo game in a week. I opened it up and suddenly the shade of green I used for all the animal cards seems extremely obnoxious. It's impossible to ignore now - how did this never annoy me until now?

I got inspired last night and tried to revive an old, abandoned project and see if I could salvage it. I am blown away by how much sheer stuff I crammed into this project. I just kept adding features and polish.

Migrating an old project from Windows UAP to JustANormalExeThankYou and not enjoying the process. Yuck. A bad idea relegated to the dust bin of history.

I’m so close to releasing my next web game. The tutorial is a bit rough, but I don’t have a better idea. Also don’t love the name. Could have more content. Rapidly approaching “whatever just ship it” territory, though.

Finished Veilguard. It stuck the landing. The outrage merchants are really grasping at straws. Combat is fun and has a good mechanical arc. It started off overwhelming and stressful, but by the end I felt ready to take on 2-3 gods. Lots of fun build choices, and a decently interesting skill system.
