What angers me most is that people who WANT and are actively seeking to use MAiD... Get the runaround. They get denied. They're never "bad enough."
But someone who DOESN'T need or want it? Magically all the hoops and red tape vanish?

I support the right to die, but we need to have some very tough conversations about how to protect disabled and marginalized people from neglect, coercion & abuse.

I've given up the guilt over being an "armchair activist" because I only have so much energy. I only have so much mental + emotional bandwidth.
Using most of it to prioritize my day-to-day survival is not a moral failing when the current regime's goal is for me NOT to survive.

We're starting ground driving training soon! Still only doing short sessions because he's still young but I'm proud of how quickly he catches on. Just a matter of finding the equipment in "extra tiny" size now!
