There’s a lot of great ideas in 4th ed WFRP, but it makes the original game look like a light-footed acrobat in comparison, not to mention the metacurrency bloat… Clever use of resilience and a single spell completely neutralized the final threat without any real need of a dice roll. It’s buggy.

In an ideal world we’d play for 4 hrs a week face to face, and we would have been better at remembering the plot details and engaging with the countless NPCs, but I think we managed very well.

I’ll probably continue with the solo BECMI campaign that I started, as well as Sword World 2.5 and Mork Borg. I wouldn’t mind doing some Rolemaster and RuneQuest as well.
