The shift from "sir this is a Wendy's" to "just put the fries in the bag" indicates a cultural rightward shift; whereas the former is making fun of someone by implying they're a customer doing too much, the latter is making fun of someone by implying they're a *worker* & should know their place

beating a dead horse but part of what makes art both worthwhile to the creator of it and interesting to the beholder is that you can’t actually beam ideas from your head into exactly what you imagined that way when you make it yourself, and the left turns and fingerprints are all part of it

(talking to the wall) if altruisric actions are only "good" if there's no benefit for the doer (even just "makes them feel good" because you can argue that too is selfish) then the only morally pure actions are ones done by force at the open resentment of the doer, which is just christianity again

i'm constantly observing gquuuuuux's focus on doing a consistent and blatant critique of the broad treatment of women in UC society and then i'm completely unsure if it keeps undercutting it with how it treats heterosexual romance or if it's building to something else entirely. three episodes left

Ive always kinda felt like a lot of folks really want to be "right" about their sexuality or are extremely particular about their labels.
Self labels are fine but the idea of being "perfectly right" about sexuality feels kinda impossible to me. Its complicated and extremely personal
