i apologize if i phrased any of this poorly, as i've had a couple post-scrimmage beers. but when anyone comes for my trans friends and family, i wanna come back for them with equal force.

transgender athletes pose no threat to cisgender athletes. they are members of my community, which i hold dear. i fully support inclusion of transgender athletes. and if you don't, (a) get better and/or (b) take several seats.

i've met transgender skaters who are superstars. i've met trans skaters who are on my own mediocre level. i've met trans skaters who are bambi on ice.

not only do i have no problems playing with or against trans skaters, i actively welcome them to roller derby.

i also fear that no one else will want to take over finance, which has been my role for over a year now. we've done well with a jeweler with no finance background acting as treasurer, but please, please nominate someone else, i am tired of harassing people for dues and filing 501(c)3 shit

i also did one cool trick while jamming tonight (which i generally don't do) that i hope to turn into a gif, with our team historian's permission. i fell flat on my face after, sure, but i felt cool as fuck.

you get a degree from UO and speak this trash? i'm sure my relatives in eugene would like to have a word.
