i am a cisgender woman who plays a fairly dangerous, full-contact sport, alongside and against trans women and nonbinary athletes, and even occasionally alongside and against cisgender men (gasp!). no one on the political right actually gives a shit about "women's" sports.

i've been extremely grateful to my extremely supportive roller derby league for 8+ years, and even more so these days. it's a privilege to go skate in a short-handed scrimmage and focus on something that is completely in the moment. just hit the shit out of your friends in chaotic moments and reset.
