Sixty years ago today, Medicare and Medicaid were signed into law - securing health care for millions and saving countless lives. As GOP politicians try to tear them down, it's up to us to protect and expand these programs for Americans who rely on them today and for future generations.

Crockett: How is it that you can explain that we still are running up the credit card and we have nothing to show for it except for the fact that we won't have food on the tables and we won’t have health care.

Intel committee Dems not briefed before strikes. Intel committee GOP were.

This is a problem and this shit needs to stop. Informing Congress of direct force that could launch WWIII isn’t a partisan process.

On 6/12, DHS Sec’y Kristi Noem said “We are staying here to liberate [LA] from the socialists and the burdensome leadership this governor and mayor have placed on this country and this city.” This use of military force to displace a democratically elected is the very definition of a coup.

Here's the Bluesky post. This is incredible. Now the goal will be to get him home. And I want to hear what Senator Van Hollen learned from him.

What this shows is that Bukele is very much susceptible to pressure.

Now we can't forget about the other 237 people sent there on March 15.

Trump has suggested that "homegrown" criminals who have been convicted of certain crimes should be deported — a policy that legal experts say is "pretty obviously illegal."

This makes me feel sick to my stomach.
President Trump is using the Abrego Garcia case to establish a truly chilling proposition: that no one can stop him from imprisoning anyone he wants anywhere else in the world never to be seen or heard from again. His dream is to preside over a police state. www.nytimes.com/2025/04/09/o...

This is absolutely horrifying. People can't afford to file Habeas petitions. And how is anyone going to enforce that this actually happens? And what about the people there that did NOT get due process?
#BREAKING: 5-4 Court, with Barrett joining the three Dem. appointees in dissent *vacates* Chief Judge Boasberg’s temporary restraining orders in the Alien Enemy Act cases. Judicial review must be available, Court holds, but has to come through habeas petitions:
