Are you a college student or early career professional looking to get hands-on experience in #conservation?

Want to build community by doing nature-based work in the Bay Area?

Does playing in the dirt satisfy something deep in your soul?

I urge Americans to fight for the ADA. Fight for people in DEIA programs to keep their jobs

We are not “less than”. We’ve been fighting for survival in a world that sees us as expendable.

Taking our employment is just another step towards making us disappear forever. /6

Imo one big threat from anti-trans EO is social license to discriminate

People will feel emboldened to complain about trans workers/ colleagues as unprofessional, confusing, etc

Something low stakes you can do if you’re cis is to take time to tell managers how happy you are w/ trans employees

This also means keep updating your documents and shit! Passports updates, birth certificate changes, name changes, etc. Keep at it. Don't stop making moves for yourself and your future. Not ever, but especially not now.
TLDR: There is nothing enforceable for the immediate future. It will take months or years to implement this via rulemaking or bureaucratic changes which are then subject to legal challenge. While it's worrying, there's no immediate change yet for most trans people. Do not comply in advance.
Trump White House's first trans executive order is out. I'll be reading over it here and going through line by line to help you make sense of it.

You can find it here:
