So glad I truly have no reason to go outside today. My cough is the worst it’s been, and I’ve been fighting this cold on/off since Christmas. Time for some chicken noodle soup and a good book.

Just made MAJOR progress on the romantasy outline: I’ve reached the Catalyst! It’s taken me several weeks to get to this point, but I am so excited that this story is really starting to take off. I’m hoping to have Act One finished by the 26th, which should be fun with the Debate scenes coming up.

When I was at my local library last week, I found a 40th anniversary edition of Katherine Paterson's "Bridge to Terebithia". I *loved* the Wonderworks' movie adaptation when I was a kid that I was only able to borrow from the library in the early 90s! I'm actually surprised at how fast the pacing

It scares me that so many people are referring to the president elect as President Trump. Just because he won the 2024 presidential election does not mean he holds the title of POTUS! There's a reason inauguration day exists; he must take the oath of office, and THEN he is president.
