So like.. my partner when we married was cishet male and since transitioned to NB/Trans (I knew before we got married.) It was funny because I went from "bi" to "pan" because "bi" no longer fit.

Ooohh...Well. I started writing werewolves (circa 2005) as a way to write through my trauma by sending a werewolf to defeat my PTSD nightmares... My world has since evolved but I hope my readers will get a sense of recovery, resilience, and recognize their healing journey through my prose.

YES YES YES! Bi-erasure sucks and must be combatted often. (My main character is pan and her first romantic partner is a cishet male- but he's not her forever love...)

When I don't write for awhile- my brain doesn't shut up about it. So I'll be sitting there grading or parenting or whatever and my thoughts go to plot points and sticky areas in my manuscript until I can write them out.
