while the language doesn’t explicitly boil down to a “transgender ban” literally, it does force trans people wanting to enter the country to choose whether they wish to be barred from entry (possibly permanently) or enter the country with incorrect and potentially outing documentation

no, this seems to be a nickname being used at least by some of the democratic representatives.

the short title for this bill is the “Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act of 2035.” there’s an even longer form title that you can find on the congress website, but either way, it’s a bad bill
