we watched these recently too, and they kind of rule???

the downer is that there was only one role available, so my work pal missed out on a spot and is pretty devastated by it. working solo suits me fine, but i also know the workload is too much for 1 FTE 🙃 the org are planning to grow the workforce over time, so hopefully that won't be an issue for me.

but...! the morning after i interviewed i got a call back to offer me a full time role at the pay rate i requested. i've accepted, and for the first time in probably 8 weeks i feel calm and content. the security of work for 2025 has melted away the anxieties & i'm so excited to finally chill tf out

my interview last week went really well. i asked for consideration for a higher rate of pay and full-time hours (rather than the part time they were advertising), fully expecting them not to come to the table on either request (hence not the org I was keen to work for).

Call me selfish but I really don’t want to verify my identity to surveillance capital so that parents can offload boundary setting to The Law.
