For me, the thing that knocked the wind out of me with this election is that I dared to believe America would get it right THIS time, that America was ready for a Woman President.
It hurt having that blind faith in neighbors, friends, and strangers smacked out of me.

When going through dark times, it's tempting to wait for the light at the end of the tunnel, but life isn't a tunnel, unchangingly dark until it's light. The light might never come.
