I met this lovely chap the other day. I do love goats, they are pure unadulterated mischief and they make no apologies for that. I admire them.

Enjoyed cooking this up today. Perfect for me post gastric bypass but my hungry college student son grabbed a bowl when he came home earlier and loved it as well. A grating of black pepper hits the spot!

This week I started the last year of my 40s! I’m really looking forward to 50. It seems very grown up! Highlights of this week have been trying new foods post my gastric bypass. No birthday cake though, not ready for cake yet. Pictures of my birthday presents x

This lovely gentle soul has just sat by my side as I’ve had an afternoon nap. I’m feeling not so 100 per cent as I try to eat puréed foods and my body learns to digest them. Her love is healing x

I attended a masquerade ball last night.
Well that was a surreal night. My first scratch night done and we were so chuffed with the results. We have worked so hard and I think as a group it definitely has more challenges than working solo. But we did it!

This is my 5 month old kitten. She isn’t allowed out in the snow yet as she is waiting to be spayed but watching her face as the snowflakes fall is pure joy!

Very excited to be performing at B Arts in Stoke Scratch night this Friday! We won a micro commission and I get to act with my mates!

Made my first batch of mincemeat after a surplass from the cake. Probably not recommended to drink and eat the pies though, even when cooked!
