i have been enjoying local art markets so much, and ceramic markets specifically :) i hope you find nice stuff there. i went to a couple when i was in portland, they were lovely!

yeah for sure lol. When you throw them out you could always just put them in a box labeled "Free ceramics" or something. But yeah, ultimately, you smash them is my understanding. I am vaguely planning on getting a rock tumbler so I can make smooth garden gravel lol

i'm personally setting up a "little library" for my ceramics, where people can pick up a bowl from in front of my house. i just let them know about it. my understanding is giving them away is fairly easy.
otherwise, you can also use smashed ceramics in pots for drainage, can offer that free too

it's a dream. i love being in pottery studios, they have been so healing and fun. i'm so glad to hear you're enjoying it, i have loved every moment in my own journey with it so far! learning so much everyday
