Today I got a letter from Sir David Attenborough. He is a UK naturalist and biologist. I sent him a copy of my book, Grandpa Loved Wild Things, a few months ago and today I received a letter back, and on earth day, how fitting!! He’s 98 so I am so impressed he sent a hand written note back.

So I entered a UK book contest and this one puts your book in the hands of children who judge them. You the receive feedback from the kids. I added my favorite below! While I wasn’t a finalist I did recieve a red ribbon award from them which Is still exciting. #kidslit

Well as we move into 2025, I wanted to share final number for 2024 book sales. 131 books ordered since June and that means grandpa’s legacy lives on in the lives of people who didn’t know him but now do. It wasn’t a NYT best seller but for being my first book I sure learned a lot!
