by the current Govt try to take away the small number of remaining employment rights that working people have and use every tactic they can to get there.

thing we wanted in the recommendations but nevertheless agreed that we would recommend them to our members. Te Roopu Taurima was still not satisfied though.

The PSA and Te Roopu Taurima attended independent and confidential facilitation run by an Employment Relations Authority member in Auckland over 4 days.

The Authority member then published recommendations to settle the collective agreement, the PSA did not get ever

order to try and put pressure on the employer to listen to these workers.

It comes after Te Roopu Taurima tried to introduce harsh terms of employment including restrictions on secondary employment and 90 day trials as well as a pay increase that do not address the increased cost of living facing

in response to low level strike action.

This is an oppressive overreaction designed to intimidate and bully these workers and unheard for New Zealand employers to adopt such a hostile tactic in these circumstances.

Providing care is expected of anyone deemed female.
Care work is clinically, technically, psychologically and energetically draining by most people who provide it.

Care work is chronicly understaffed, underpaid, for caregivers/RNs/Drs/whanau.
Care, will in time, become the new currency and value.
