Maybe the grocery stores near you. The ones near me sell wine on their shelves in their stores. Google "Loblaws wine" and look at the pictures.

This is why I think the LCBO pulling stock off shelves is actually strategy to hurt them. It won't do anything to the US and it's going to cost the LCBO money.

Most of it is. I mean, in Ontario the tariff war is basically two vultures (Ford and Trump) fighting over who can pick our carcass clean first.

Also, the LCBO is pulling product it had already purchased off its shelves. Grocery stores also have inventory already...are they going to sell it, or also pull it off their shelves?

They don't buy it off LCBO's shelves though. Has the LCBO said it's no longer supplying restaurants and retail outlets with US alcohol?

I still wonder whether this is the LCBO standing up for Canadians or Doug Ford trying to further undermine it into nonexistence. If all the grocery stores now selling alcohol opportunistically benefit from this instead of following suit, I think you might have your answer...

Out of curiosity, how do you feel about Portuguese custard tarts/pastel de nata? I find them similar but also quite different, and like both, not having grown up with either.
