I don't really care what the "political consequences" are of fighting for the proposition that *everyone* is entitled to due process before they are removed from the United States and sent to a Salvadoran prison.
It's not really a principle if you only adhere to it when it's politically expedient.

OTD 2 years ago in OK, I chased the most incredible storm of my life. I documented 8 tornadoes, including two sets of twins and the widest tornado I've seen (1.3 miles). The structure and lightning was unlike anything I had seen. It was a true behemoth of the plains. Real time clip:

Judge: But I just don't think I have the ability to grant relief to plaintiffs. I just don't see how you're asking me to do anything different from what SCOTUS says I can't do. I think it's hard for me to say that I should inject myself into this controversy, given where things stand.
