Gov. JB Pritzker signed a law to restore Shabbona State Park, a total of about 1,500 acres, to the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation. The land once belonged to Chief Shab-eh-nay but was seized and sold by the U.S. when the chief was visiting relatives.
