Attended a great workshop at the Teton County Library yesterday to learn more about writing effective op-eds. The structure of Topic (what do I care about) / Theme (what is most important for you to know) can also be applied for elevator pitch types of convos. Have yours ready when you need it!

Really enjoying this professional read. The author centers literacy instruction on “happiness pillars” of Connection, Choice, Challenge, Play, Story, Discovery, Movement, and Design. It’s resonating with lots that I already do in my library classroom, and inspiring ideas for new lessons. #edusky
