U.S. Business and Economic History. We did a term project on our own family’s economic history, and I’m still dropping tidbits I learned into conversations over 20 years later. Plus we got to listen to Bruce Springsteen’s “Youngstown” in class.
What was your favorite early clas NOT in your eventual major. Mine was Ethnomusicology: an introduction to folk music.
I invariably get, "Ooh anthro that was my favorite class/cool professor" from people I meet. I tend to think soms of it is our outré material, being willing to talk "taboo" subjects in a cross-cultural context.
Ironically MY favorite class was probably Geology 101...

2. Attended a Trump & Higher Ed forum
3. Sent a letter to my representatives in D.C.
4. Supported objective journalism with another slow news subscription
5. Hosted a university-wide mindfulness meditation
