I had an interesting dream last night. I finally stood up for myself to my mother. It didn't go well, when confronted she reacted as poorly as I expected. But it didn't hurt me any more. I said what I had to say and went my way. It felt good!

Proud mom moment. School calls, Allie's not in trouble, but has once again stirred the shit pot in government. Don't come to debate my child without facts and receipts, you will get flayed. Kid takes no prisoners and will not accept regurgitation.

Some days it's the little things. Spotify is in the groove with my morning Playlist today. Made the kidlet a very happy ride to school this morning. Rocky Horror and Labyrinth soundtrack followed by XTC & Tears for Fears.

In fact I didn't do any Black Friday shopping. I did go out, had to take the youngling to a doctor appointment, we stopped at B&N looked at the line and said nope! I've been sick all week, just the crud, but a new book might help!

It's bad getting good pictures of dark colored pets. But both these girls really love their new friend. He's really comfortable around them too. Now if only I could get my cat to like this guy too!
