Thrilled to share that I’ve officially accepted a position to join endocrinology faculty at @weillcornell.bsky.social !

Especially excited to join Dr. Kumar and her amazing ICHANGE clinic team in advancing care for metabolic liver disease—truly a dream job come true for this #MASLD nerd!

Very proud of Dr. Kerry Kennedy Meltzer, my former co-resident and public health & policy extraordinaire for being vulnerable and sharing this about her uncle, RFK Jr.

PLEASE READ THIS !

Private emails show RFK Jr. making false claims about Covid-19 shots, linking vaccines to autism
Kennedy's niece, a NYC physician, shares private emails, says public needs to see what she calls her uncle’s misguided views and conspiracy theories.

Estimated burden of #MASLD and #MASH over the next 30 years.😮

Future is grim if we don't take active approach from all disciplines and angles, including policy change.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that the show rate at our public hospital clinic was extremely low today, same day he promised to role out mass deportations

BMI has limitations in categorizing someone with obesity. We need alternative methods to diagnose obesity so we do not overdiagnose or underdiagnose the disease.

This month I made $4,052 from "side hustles" between social media engagements and pre-residency advising... nearly double what I make biweekly as a chief endocrinology fellow.

Food for thought: what does it say about trainee physician salaries when side gigs can pay more?

So much talk about #MASLD but let's not forget to screen our patients for alcohol consumption as well.

Do we think this change in telehealth coverage for Medicare will really go into effect in 2025?

Genuinely asking as someone interviewing for jobs which depend on telehealth to provide care to underserved pts or at institutions who don’t have physical space for more physicians to see patients

Any ideas for an interesting Endocrine Grand Rounds topic?! Not too broad, timely, clinically relevant.

Unsurprisingly, I have done all my grand rounds thus far on #MASLD so looking for something different :)
