The youth ballet production my daughter was in last holidays has a new photographer - she didn't get too many shots of my daughter on stage, but got a tonne of her in the dressing room!

Son in his op shop with mum alterations costume and daughter in a hand me down dance costume
I got the jacket, shirt and pants at the op shop. I put some elastic in the waist, cut the bottom off the pants and rehemmed and cut and bound the jacket. I also crocheted the scarf

One of my favourite costumes hit the stage tonight and the young dancer won his category!
My favourite part of making this was matching rhinestones to the background colours while being aware of how he needed to roll in his dance

60 hours was the magic number. We went to my sister's for showers and recharging and came home to power!
