President Zelenskyy has been one of the greatest leaders of our time, guiding Ukraine through the darkest period of its recent history, rising up to Russia’s unwarranted aggression, being an inspiration to the Ukrainian people and ensuring that Ukraine’s voice is heard on the world stage.

This just speaks of the absolute lust for blood some have.

“It is deeply ironic and telling that both the alleged pro-Israel perpetrator and the pro-Israel victim in the Miami Beach shooting reportedly hold racist anti-Palestinian views,”

While Albanese Gov fails refugees again by breaking promise to end privately run onshore detention centres, giving US company with appalling human rights record $2.3 billion, ASRC will keep fighting back with refugees. Stand with us, donate to our appeal: donate.asrc.org.au/helptoday

Spent 25min in the sauna giving a 17yo fella from the bush life advice. Smart kid gives me hope for the future.

The Victorian School Bonus would’ve been better value if we didn’t have to use the funds at an expensive official school uniform supplier. Would’ve liked to use it on school shoes. Probably just put the whole $400 on school excursions and fees. Uniform suppliers must be licking their lips at this.

Forgot how much fun it is to burn through the city on a mountain bike. OK bike skills make it even more fun. Where some see an obstacle I just see a short cut. I feel sorry for people with no bike skills. You’re missing out.

I was waiting for another to visit before I posted this. It seems our apartment is a sanctuary for endangered moths. They’ve been hanging around here for years.

I’ve been living in this building for over 3 years and last night I learned the gym closes at 11:30pm. No idea why.

Great little article about Streets for Docklands kids by Dr Elek Pafka. Children were certainly overlooked for basically all of Docklands’ planning.

School streets for Docklands’ kids
The way from home to school and back is formative – we all remember it. This journey can be rich in sensory and social experiences along the way, or rather constrained, strapped in the back of a car. ...

Some of my colleagues have been made redundant today. I feel so sad for them. They’re great contributors and hard workers. I’ve known some of them my whole life as I grew up in the business. Feels like losing a family member.

Currently at the gym. I think I’m going to overtrain again today. #workouts

I’ve put on about 12-13kg since I was at my fittest cycling weight. I rode to work today and man it is tough carrying around an extra bike or so in weight. Especially with the headwinds.
