Bacon grease makes everything better
I had one of these in my car and found out recently that they make an excellent car pillow with the seat reclined.

10/10 car sleep. Had to share this life hack with the world.

I’m going to buy 10 of these

I had covid over the weekend and it was pretty bad Saturday-Monday. I’ve been slathering this K Voss lip mask on and my lips aren’t chapped at all. 10/10 LOVE IT

I got the lip mask in an Ipsy bag. I didn’t realize it’s $32 for a full size. 😭

My kitty cat office mate hates watering day.

Guess where the water tray goes. 🫤

I guess too many people got Margarita drunk at Chili’s

I drew fangs on my calendar sticker in honor of Creepy Carrots. We loved that book.

Oops, stayed up until 2am. I watched The Wicker Man and Blue Velvet. Two classics that I hadn’t got around to yet.

Back to watching 70s/80s horror on Tubi. This one was so much fun.

I did clutch my pearls at Spirit of Halloween yesterday when I saw the Skeleboner costume complete with pump.

The package had an image of the, uh, pump action?

I’ll let the curious do their own Internet search for the costume.

There are 3 black kittens at the local Petco and they are like a void tornado in their little kennel.

My favorite name is A Toy Chihuahua Barking at Me From a Tiny Purse

I bought this same Pyrex this weekend, complete with basket! I love it so much. It’s from the late 70s. Six dollars well spent.

I braised some cabbage and carrots in it this evening to go with corned beef.

HIGHLY recommend a random pack of stickers. They’re so fun.

I have a digital planner but I still use stickers on my desk calendar for tracking daily medication.

Found this one the other day. I had to know what the shark was saying so I translated it. I still don’t know. 😂

Suspiria (1977)

I haven’t heard of this one but it is highly rated.

Dan Rather’s book of essays helps. We’ve been through hard times. Hopefully we’ll get through these too.

I realize I’m second to last in line for “hard times”. I can’t begin to imagine how hard this is for people in detention facilities and their families.

Tonight’s movie is Silent Night, Bloody Night. I definitely remember seeing that at Blockbuster.
October 7, 2025 at 3:07 AM
I also watched House by the Cemetery.

It’s worth seeing, but not great. The opening scene made me laugh out loud. It’s like they had an 80s horror movie checklist and they said done and done.

If you are sensitive to relentless crying, it will get on your nerves. Don’t even get me started on Bob.

Next up is Gothic. Never heard of it.

Tubi has an 80s horror category and I’m watching all the movies my parents wouldn’t let me rent at Blockbuster.

Currently watching Prom Night

While getting my B.S. I used to drop my boyfriend at the bar and find a late night coffee shop to study.

I did most of my MBA homework in a McDonald’s lobby with the free WiFi.

Ten years later I’ve realized the local brewery is a great place to focus too. 😂 🤷🏻‍♀️

I received this message today from child #1 and I laughed so hard.

This is Dorothy. She has mild CH, “wobbly cat syndrome”.

It does not stop her from being a menace or 🔪 any snakes who wander into in my garage.

Really focused on housework this evening. This is definitely what I’m supposed to be doing.

I was so excited to read The Lamb by Lucy Rose, but it fell flat for me. It was OK.

The cover art is great. I’ll give the cover 5 stars.

Just Mother Nature over here.

Look at this beauty on my porch. What a wonderful morning surprise.

I’ve never seen a male Garden Spider. I probably have and didn’t notice. They could have been literally in the shadow of a female.

He’s in the 1st picture 🔎. The 2nd pic is a close up.

Look at my girl. THREE egg sacs now. 👏 👏.

Idc that my door is dirty. I have a cool spiders in residence.
