If Labor want to prove that they're committed to our future, Tom Koutsantonis' first act as Treasurer must be to stop subsidising fossil fuels from taxpayer money.

We can absolutely do something. The Government claim it's caused by fossil fuels while subsidising the polluters $37m per year from state coffers. We can start by eliminating spending on fossil fuels, stop the new gas expansions in the Polda & Otway basins & taking real climate action.

I would rather “the pause has been put in place due to compassion”.
