Well behaved women rarely make history.

Labor historian, feminist, and a nuisance.
Fighting on public health, homelessness, social and economic justice, improving lives in Melbournes's poorest areas.
Former Nun recounts 50 years of abuse in a Carmelite monstery to an inquiry on cults and fringe groups, and Catholic Archbishop of Melbourne Peter Comensoli lectures her on "lived reality"

It's absolutley true that the transition into housing can be traumatic and cruel in the way it's handled, from day one, with little respect for the individual's prior sense of friends, community, local know how and geography. So little housing left now, nobody's making the transition anyway in Vic.
ICYMI: Older adults who have experienced homelessness feel deeply alone, even after returning to housing.

Nearly 40% report #loneliness—far higher than those who were able to remain in housing.

It's not just a feeling—it can harm people's health.

Trump's response to Rob Reiner's death drips with a tone of just deserts. It reads like a narcissist’s cackle. It is a grotesque response from a man whose boundless and wholly unearned sense of self-worth long ago crowded out any decency.

Very affirming when a client says this at the opening of our 4th social enterprise cafe:
"When I think of Youth Projects, I think of nothing but respect and kindness"

It's the only thing we preach.

She now has core job skills, confidence and a path out of poverty. We're set open two more cafes.

They're going broke from all the abuse.
But today, I think this is the story: Anglican Bishop says he is shielding parishioners from extent of sex abuse payouts because "offenders have been much admired people in our diocesan community"

This is the reckoning.

Neighborhood Dog Club meeting couldn't think of any agenda items because they already have everything they want and need. Maybe more food scraps at the table or second breakfast, but that won't pass the Senate.
Meeting descended into zoomies and chaos.
