Have you ever had a really long day and gone for a snack at one of those places where you order at a console and then a robot brings you your food, but you’re alone and facing the front window and you’ve never been here before so you don’t even hear the robot trying to deliver your food behind you?

i think it is important to say that the open and explicit racism of the president and the vice president isn’t just uncouth or “controversial” but a direct attack on tens of millions of americans and a dereliction of their duty to represent the entire country

I know that many of you are concerned about the perceived neutral and apolitical role of science in decisionmaking.

But scientists are being targeted. We didn't start it.

And advocating *for the role of scientific evidence in policymaking* is not unprofessional advocacy.
