@mrjamesob.bsky.social The problem with hospital league tables is that it creates a self-fulfilling prophecy… those at the bottom of the table will struggle to recruit high quality clinicians and managers (without a huge cash incentive), so will only result in driving standards down further.

I don't understand how some folks are unable to see that the illegal disappearing of people is a class issue. The wealthy and well-connected get due process. The rest of us don't. This is part of the oligarchy, not a distraction from it.
