Watching PM Ishiba’s resignation speech on YouTube. I find the comments fascinating - lots of people saying a range of different things but now some random person is just posting truckloads of hearts over and over and that is irritating everyone a LOT. Too much hoohaa for a Sunday night I think….🇯🇵

Watching PM Ishiba’s resignation speech on YouTube. I find the comments fascinating - lots of people saying a range of different things but now some random person is just posting truckloads of hearts over and over and that is irritating everyone a LOT. Too much hoohaa for a Sunday night I think….🇯🇵

On the 小海線 heading to Sakudaira en route to Tokyo for a big week. Loving this cute train that goes from the station closest to me! The train conductor comes through and offers to take photos of the train otakus who are also enjoying the ride!!! 🚂⛰️🇯🇵

Lovely taxi driver very excited about his cab. Seems it is brand new. As in came straight from the boat or wherever it is new taxis come from. Only done 40kms and I am the first passenger. Not sure why but feels auspicious. Nice! 🚖🇯🇵

Arrived in Sydney (to a quiet and calm airport which might have more to do with the rain than new procedures) but lovely views on arrival AND met by my friend Maki chan aka GM of All Nippon Airways (who is amazing!!!). Am so glad I have made the switch and now supporting ANA 🇯🇵✈️🇦🇺
