Tarlov is correct. I find this story particularly annoying because of how (perhaps deliberately) unfocused it is. These horrific fires aren't the result of LA city budgetary policy, even if $17M was truly cut. It's the fault of the capitalist climate criminals who are killing us all as they profit.
