The nuclear triade is very expensive but achieving the triade with rockets, bombers and uboats is doable. Fscas and french mirage can provide bombers, germany can provide excellemt uboats and britain has nuclear subs.

From a german point of view we would be happy to help france financially to ramp up warheads. German u boats could be equipped with nukes, they are very good very silent for the nuclear triade. In my view it is a no brainer that we should work closely with canadians and australians on this.

What I mean is stuff like US OS and cloud servers. Only an insane person would now trust US servers for important data.

Dafür müsste man echte opfer bringen in einer gesellschaft voller individualisten. Das hiesse höhere steuern, wehrdienst für alle wie in finnland, extra arbeit und verzicht.
Es ist aber eher so dass eine nach mir die sintflut stimmung herscht.

No choice. Canada needs europe especially france and britain. Only they can actually protect canada in the worst case with a nuclear deterrent. I know it sounds crazy but ultimately the only option canada has aside from its own nukes.

German here. I personally and my company are actively downgrading dependence on US software. I hope we can work closer with canada and australia and britain. We need to get rid of any dependency on US stuff and services.
